God captured my heart in Junior High. I was blessed to grow up in church and witness how to live for Christ everyday through my parents; I believe I was saved when I was a child, but I didn’t allow Him to be LORD of my life until junior high. It was then that I realized that every area of my life should be submitted to Him. Since then, I have continually learned new things about the power of Christ to forgive, heal, and shelter me beneath His wings (see Ruth 2:12).

Since coming to Lakeland, five years ago, I have learned passion for the WORD of GOD like never before.  Nothing else compares to the Scriptures’ ability to convey true hope and life.
